Travel Club 2010 (volunteers aged 40+)

KenyanAdventure's Travel Club offers volunteers aged 40 and over to try something new in the company of like-minded people of a similar age. There is a Spring Travel Club running Monday 26th April - Monday 10th May and an Autumn Travel Club running Monday 6th September - Monday 20th September.

There is often a misconception that volunteering abroad is designed for young people fresh out of college/university. Whilst  many students do decide to take a GAP year, mature travellers are increasingly searching for new and innovative ways to spend their leisure time. Pre-trip inhibitions about not feeling comfortable working with young volunteers are usually proved false.

However, we recognise that some still hold the view that they simply have different interests and it is important to us that senior volunteers don't give up on a great opportunity as a result!

So, next May and September will be designed to welcome volunteers aged 40+ to work on a variety of community projects within close proximity of each other and sharing homestay accommodation exclusively with fellow members of the travel club.

Don't forget that by travelling with KenyanAdventure, you will be funding materials and equipment for your chosen project. Click here to find out how!

You can secure your place on May or September's Travel Club with a deposit of just £49!

Volunteering abroad - particularly if you have never visited the country before - can be a nervous experience but our travel experts are happy to help. Please feel free to give us a call and we'll
